you is the intimate solo project of musician and composer Emanuele Tabarrini, launched in 2020 with the debut EP To Believe and Suffer. Blending emotional depth with acoustic textures, you quickly carved a space in the underground music scene.

In 2023, Tabarrini followed up with his second release, A Shred of Bliss, which led to a promotional mini-tour across Italy, with performances at festivals, clubs, and as an opening act for established artists.

Looking ahead, 2025 marks a new chapter with the upcoming release of Sound of Rising (vol. I), the first part of his third album. The journey begins with the first single, “Getting Deeper,” released on June 27, 2025.

Musically, you is rooted in emo and grunge, layered with alternative, progressive, and jazz influences. The sound is melancholic and dreamlike, yet often lifts into more powerful, energetic tones—thanks in part to the dynamic trio setupfeaturing bass and drums.

Tabarrini’s work draws inspiration from a range of artists, including Nick Drake, Pat Metheny, Fink, and Ben Howard, offering a listening experience that feels both introspective and expansive.
