A Fistful of Funk - Single review ( Pop / Rock )
NMR - A sort of Rock / Punk R&B fusion sound I guess, a funky groove with overdrive guitar at the core of the track, reminded me of a beefed up B52's vibe, its a pretty raw mix I felt, but still a good overl groove.
Fistful Of Funk are a London-based funk/rock band injecting raw ’90s crossover energy into the modern scene. Active since 2024, the band delivers a high-voltage blend of tight grooves, explosive guitar riffs, and playful—sometimes cheeky—lyrics, drawing clear inspiration from the iconic sound of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Fronted by Martin on vocals, the lineup features Filippo on guitar, Maurizio on bass, and Gabriele on drums. Together, they create a sound that’s as dynamic as it is infectious.
But it’s on stage where Fistful Of Funk truly come alive. Their live shows are loud, sweaty, and impossible to ignore—featuring crowd-surfing bassists, relentless energy, and a chaotic, feel-good atmosphere that feels more like a party than a performance.
The band has already earned strong praise, described as “the kind of band you do not want to miss,” with “incredible energy,” “fantastic performances,” and “tight musicianship.” Their groove, passion, and electrifying stage presence have drawn frequent comparisons to the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
If you like your funk dirty, your rock loud, and your gigs unforgettable, Fistful Of Funk are a band you need on your radar.
