About - Nissy and the Album

German alternative rock artist NISSY delivers a focused and thought-provoking statement with Not Silent Anymore, a concept album that unfolds as one continuous journey. Each track connects to the next, exploring themes of mental health, vulnerability, and the wider issues shaping modern life.

The album opens with its title track, setting a tone of awakening and urgency, before moving into “Falling Apart,” which captures the weight of emotional burnout. From there, “Glass Hearts” highlights the challenge of staying open in a guarded world, while songs like “Broken Innocence” and “Poisoned Earth” shift attention toward animal welfare and environmental responsibility.

NISSY balances personal reflection with broader social commentary. “We Look Away” and “Between Truth and Lies” question collective inaction and the complexity of modern systems without pushing a fixed viewpoint, allowing space for the listener to reflect.

Musically rooted in modern alternative rock, the album blends atmospheric textures with emotive vocals, creating a cohesive and immersive feel throughout. The closing stretch, particularly “Still I Breathe” and “Rise From The Ashes,” introduces a sense of resilience, ending the record on a note of cautious hope.

Not Silent Anymore is less about easy answers and more about awareness. It’s a concise but impactful project that encourages listeners to think, feel, and ultimately speak up.
