Presence - Again and Again - Review

NMR -  This track has a solid mix of Metal and Rap style vocals wrapped up in a punk style overcoat, the guitars bring the Metal vibe dominating the mix, the vocal sits up on top woth nice melodies and good use of harmonies to add dynamics, a rap style lyric drops in here and there to chaneg the direction, but overll its a Rock track, and nicely done !

About - Presence

More than 20 years after its release, the PRESENCE track has found a new generation of listeners — with over 93,000 TikTok posts and more than 1 million Spotify streams in just 28 days.

There’s something fascinating about discovering an old song years after its original release — and that’s exactly what is happening with PRESENCE and their track “Again and Again.”

Originally released on the band’s 2003 album Rise through Curb Records, the track is enjoying an unexpected resurgence in 2026, thanks largely to TikTok.

The song’s audio has now been used in more than 93,000 TikTok posts, generating approximately 53 million views. That social media momentum has also translated into streaming, with PRESENCE surpassing 1 million Spotify streams in a 28-day period.

A 2003 Sound Finding Its Moment in 2026

“Again and Again” is very much rooted in the sound of the early 2000s, combining aggressive rock verses with a melodic, instantly memorable chorus.

It’s a style that will be immediately familiar to fans of bands such as Sevendust and Staind, as well as anyone who remembers the nu-metal and melodic hard rock scene at its peak.

But rather than simply being a nostalgia trip, the track appears to be finding a completely new audience.

TikTok has become an increasingly powerful way for older music to be rediscovered, allowing songs that may have been overlooked at the time of their original release to reach listeners who weren't even born when they first appeared.

For PRESENCE, that has resulted in “Again and Again” being placed firmly back in the spotlight more than two decades after Rise was released.
