THE STARXZ are a rock ‘n’ roll group from London, England, heavily influenced by the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, David Bowie, Lou Reed, the Stooges, Nirvana, Oasis etc.
Our goal is to deliver rock music, with the same integrity and ‘raw power’ that bands of the 60s, 70s and 90s transmitted, to mass audiences. ‘Buzzkill’ is inspired by the roaring guitar sounds of the punk bands of the 70s, such as the Sex Pistols, the Ramones, the Clash, the Damned, the Buzzcocks etc.
Buzzkill is a song about the complexities of relationships. Our goal is to attain greater exposure and a larger audience for the music we are passionate about.
We play live as a four-piece and the line-up for future gigs will be announced soon.
We have a self-titled EP coming out soon; which is scheduled to release in 2024.
