Damon Brock, the talented Worthing-based folk-pop artist, has just released his latest single, “Summer Days,” available now on all digital platforms. This new track promises to be an earworm with its indie-pop melodies and heartfelt lyrics, capturing the essence of an intense summer romance.
“Summer Days came to me on a late summer sunset walk along the beach,” says Brock. “I was imagining a lady reminiscing about a passionate brief encounter, something that she feels she does a little too often – something that can be related to around the world.”
In “Summer Days,” Brock continues to showcase his unique ability to blend genres. Working again with producer Steve Baker, who also collaborated on his first EP, Resolute, Brock fuses synth and guitar melodies with his signature acoustic guitar sound, creating a seamless blend of folk and pop.
Despite the limitations on his ability to perform live due to his responsibilities as a carer for his disabled wife, Brock remains dedicated to his music and his fans. This summer, he will be performing locally, sharing “Summer Days” and other tracks from his forthcoming EP with his growing neighbourhood fanbase.
