Following the punk-driven single “old gum” and the reimagined “Self-Xplained,” “ur eyes agree” signifies another milestone in this return to his alternative rock roots.
Experimental Sound
Written and produced entirely in a bedroom studio, “ur eyes agree” stands out as a deeply personal piece. The song reflects the artist’s complex emotions during a pivotal transition away from scenecore—a genre that initially fuelled his rise but ultimately took a toll on his mental health.
“This song personally marked my return to rock music and reflects the mixed emotions I felt during the scenecore phase,” LooveX shared.
The track also showcases innovative production techniques, mixing raw and pitched vocals to create a distinctive sound. Additionally, LooveX recorded the guitar directly from an amp using a phone, adding an authentic, gritty feel to the track.
