Aura Quinn with “DOLLS” – Rebellion Against Digital Perfection.
July 14, 2025 – Meet Aura Quinn, the alt-pop newcomer who’s crashing the scene with sharp wit, glitter, and a whole lot of glitch.
Her debut single, “DOLLS,” is out now — and it’s anything but sugar-coated. Channeling the glossy pop energy of the early 2000s through a warped, hypermodern lens, “DOLLS” dives into the pressure of looking perfect in an era of curated feeds and filtered faces.
“It’s about how we’re all being programmed to look and feel the same,” Aura shares. “Perfect, polished, aesthetic — but underneath, it’s exhausting. ‘DOLLS’ is me snapping back.”
Packed with bratty energy, pixelated synths, and Y2K-coded visuals, “DOLLS” calls out the beauty-industrial complex with a wink and a middle finger painted in pink glitter. The track is bold, satirical, and emotionally resonant — a mission statement for an artist who’s not here to play nice.
“DOLLS” is the first taste of Aura Quinn’s upcoming debut album, CTRL + ME, dropping this Friday, July 18. The album promises to blend surreal visuals, glitch-pop production, and brutally honest lyricism. Aura’s growing fanbase — lovingly dubbed the CTRL Freaks — is already buzzing.
Stream “DOLLS” now on all platforms.
