I checked out this new music release from rising artist Naomi Jane

Naomi Jane Voigt, a fourteen-year-old, singer, actor, songwriter, musician, and dancer has been captivating audiences since she was four. 

She has performed many off-Broadway and regional musical theater roles in New York and California, and recently concluded two Off-Broadway productions, most notable as Young Teddy Trager in the award-winning musical Aussie Song.

She’s a featured vocalist at iconic New York venues, including Feinstein’s 54 / Below, Green Room 42, Players Club NYC, the Sembrich Opera, and The Theater for a New City.

Regional theatre favorites include Newsies (Jack Kelly), Bye Bye Birdie (Rose Alvarez), Shrek (Fiona), Sound of Music (Maria), Little Mermaid (Ariel). High School Musical (Sharpay), Frozen (Elsa), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Miss Dorothy Brown), 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Chip), and Once Upon a Mattress (Lady Larken).

Naomi made her television debut on PBS Kids with Monkey Monkey Music and appeared in award-winning Assisted Living the Series. She has starred in several films, her favorite, the soon to be cult classic, A Night with the Sheintops.

A prolific songwriter, she is known as the piano poet, crafting her powerful prose while composing music to deliver her lyrics straight to the heart.

A profound independent artist, she is self published, produced, and maintains her own record label.

A classically trained mezzo soprano, her vocal range spreads across three octaves.

Music critic described her as “Sings like Sarah McLachlan. Strong like Alanis Morissette. Unique like Joni Mitchell. Awesome”.

Naomi plays the guitar, ukulele, saxophone, violin, and piano. A strong dancer, she excels in jazz, lyrical, and hip-hop dance.

Naomi was born in New York City and has enjoyed a bicoastal upbringing. She has spent half her life in Santa Barbara and Malibu, California and the other half in Greenwich, Connecticut. Outside of music and acting, Naomi loves hanging with friends, making TikTok videos, playing softball, and chilling with family.
