Meet David Vogel: New York Native Turned Nashville-Based Alternative Pop Sensation
David Vogel, a native of New York and a burgeoning alternative pop artist, found his calling in the world of music at the young age of 14. His journey from writing and recording to producing music has been a relentless pursuit of his passion.
Post high school, David delved into the realms of audio technology and engineering, gaining invaluable experience at a prestigious recording studio in the heart of NYC. In 2018, he, along with his brother and best friends, formed the band “JADN.” Under his self-production prowess, they released their debut album, “City Skies,” amassing an impressive 2.5 million streams on Spotify alone.
In a pivotal moment in 2021, David took flight to LA to audition for NBC’s acclaimed show, “The Voice.” His soulful talent earned him a chair turn from none other than Ariana Grande. Making it to the Top 20, he mesmerized a live TV audience of 8 million with his performance.
Post-“The Voice,” David decided to call Nashville his new home, where he continues to pursue his musical aspirations and songwriting endeavors. Having recently inked a pub/production deal, he is now in the process of recording his debut EP, slated for a summer 2024 release.
