Metal and Melody dont always go together, but these guys have made the fusion work here.

NMR – Manifest are a UK (Midlands-based) metal outfit. This new track delivers a great mix of classic metal guitar and vocal vibes, with the added arrangement twist of melodic breaks—opening up the sound to a whole new audience. A very clever move, in my opinion.

The track features fantastic mixing and production, with super-tight instrumental arrangements. Definitely added to my metal playlist!

New Music Release: Manifest – Villain

Birmingham-based metalcore band Manifest kick off 2025 with the release of their hard-hitting new single, “Villain”, available now on all major streaming platforms.

Blending modern metalcore with breakbeat and industrial elements, “Villain” brings a raw and aggressive sound shaped by the urban environment the band call home.

“The theme of the track symbolises coming to terms with being the villain in a perpetrator’s eyes as they are feigning innocence,” says vocalist Zero Leo.
“That’s fine — I’ll be the villain in your eyes,” they added, referring to one of the track’s defining lines.

Guitarist Scott Ravenhill explains how the band’s gritty rehearsal space in Birmingham inspired some of the track’s most aggressive tones.

“The rough urban environment helped to generate that energy. The drum and bass influence also came from the area — it’s in the air where we’re from.”

Guitarist Kane Shaw adds:

“Sirens can be heard briefly in the mix — it’s a subtle nod to the sounds of the city, tying into the theme of villainy.”

“Villain” is now streaming on platforms like Spotify, YouTube Music, iTunes, Deezer, and more.
