Living by the ocean has a way of bringing clarity. The calm, expansive views, the salt in the air—it’s all inspired a return to my folk roots. Shanon’s latest track is a reflection of that. It’s chill but uplifting, the kind of song you’d want playing during your morning coffee or on a scenic drive.
This track is about finding the right person after making a few wrong choices along the way. It’s a theme I think many can relate to, and the mellow vibe complements the message perfectly.
I’m excited to share that the release date aligns with my upcoming Melbourne show where I’ll be supporting the incredible Riley Pearce, with more shows lined up across Australia. It feels like everything’s coming together, and I can’t wait to bring this new sound to the stage.
In fact, living by the ocean has shaped my next wave of music. I’m currently working on an EP with the talented Hayden Calnin, who’s both writing and producing it. There’s a lot in store, and I’m looking forward to sharing more soon.
