Robin Smith Williams - Long Goodbyes - Review

NMR - This new release from Robin kicks off with a laid back close up acoustic guitar arangement, giving that " in the room " vibe.

The vocal is smooth and sits nicely in the mix, with the lyric melody floating across the guitar chords, the added double track and harmony is well placed and providing a lift in dynamics here and there.

I interpret the lyrics as telling the tale of moving on from a relationship that isnt working, something many folks will identify with Im sure.

Overall the song is fairly low key, but melodic, the lyrics will connect with listeners, the mix and production suits the groove nicely.
