NMR - The Marches - Be Cool - Review

A laid back groove built around a tremelo guitar vibe, I do like a nice tremelo !

The vocal delivery has its own style, with nice backing and harnonies to enhance the track, addiitonal guitars build the momentum to a crescendo not unlike a Beatles track !

The mix and production is excellent, as are the instrumentation and arrangment, all in all a nice song.

About The Marches

The Marches return this October with Faultline — a bold, emotionally charged four-track EP that captures the band at their most urgent, vulnerable and creatively fearless.

Recorded in the wake of a year defined by momentum and transformation, Faultline finds the Glasgow rock outfit pushing deeper into the tension between fragility and force. The result brings together soaring melodies, sharp-edged guitars and the band's signature lyrical honesty.

The new EP continues to build momentum nationally, with lead single ‘The Habit’ selected for BBC Radio 6 Music's Introducing Mixtape — the group's biggest national radio placement to date.

The Marches' live show has also grown from strength to strength, with festival stage appearances and sold-out headline shows in both Glasgow and Aberdeen. Streaming momentum has followed, with the band peaking at over 10,000 monthly listeners — and multiple record labels now courting the band, a clear sign of the industry belief building around what comes next.
