NMR - A3 - Maybe Its You - Review

An Ambient single guitar line intro sets this track up nicely, the vocal is straight in with a great tone and melody, harmonies add colour and depth to the mix, together with some background synth vibes to pad things out.

The chorus is full and wide, again added vocal parts build it up and I think I do detect acoustic guitar hiding in there too.

Overall its a very well cosntructed track in my opinion, the instrumentation works well, the mix and production is super high quality, and the track sounds excellent, I can see its getting some good traction already , so dont miss out on this one !

About A3

From Londo Uk, Seasoned electronic and dance artist A3 makes a welcome return to the UK music scene with his smooth new single, Maybe It’s You.”

Marking a sophisticated evolution in his signature uplifting sound, the track swaps the high-octane energy of the dancefloor for a deeper, more laid-back sonic landscape.

“Maybe It’s You” serves as the opening single in a new creative chapter for A3, who joined forces in the studio with acclaimed producer and multi-instrumentalist Ian Barter. Barter’s impressive credits include work with Amy Winehouse, Paloma Faith, Dermot Kennedy, and Izzy Bizu.

His production brings a rich, analogue warmth to A3’s melodic sensibilities, blending organic textures with a hypnotic, down-tempo groove. The result is a resonant sound that retains A3’s infectious hooks while exploring a cooler, more atmospheric aesthetic.

“Working with Ian allowed me to drop the beat, then peel back the layers and focus on the raw mood of the music. ‘Maybe It’s You’ is built for those introspective, sunset moments. It’s a bit of a departure from the peak-time club tracks people might expect, but it feels like the most authentic representation of where I am creatively right now.”

The track was mastered in London by industry veteran Tony Cousins at Metropolis, whose credits include Robbie Williams and Annie Lennox.

A3 is no stranger to the upper echelons of the UK music scene. Having previously graced the front cover of Music Weekon his debut, his career includes a string of popular club hits, including the dance-chart fixtures “Feel the Light” and “Come With Me.”

Over the course of his career, A3 has also collaborated with electronic music duo Nervo, while his work has received remixes from legendary pioneers such as Paul Oakenfold.

With “Maybe It’s You,” A3 demonstrates an artist unafraid to reinvent himself. As the first taste of an upcoming trilogy of releases, the single offers a chilled, heartfelt listening experience and a glimpse into an exciting new creative direction.
