NMR - Ritchi Maguire - Come Now Rage - Review

Ive heard a few tracks from Ritchi Maguire and this one is great example of how an artist can continue to grow and produce super high quality material.

The feel and emotion in this track just oozes from the speakers, the vocal delivery is excellent, backed only by an acoustic guitar , strings and piano, nothing else is needed, not a thing.

I took to the headphones to get closer to the song, it just gets better on each listen.

I really hope this does well and encourage you to check it out, it deserves your time.

About Ritchi Maguire

“Come Now Rage” was born out of the quiet, unspoken weight of enduring love through profound loss. Stripped back to its raw, honest core, it captures the internal tempest often held in silence — a reckoning rather than an explosion.

It is easily the most vulnerable and uncompromising piece of music I’ve put to tape. I’ve spent a long time caught in a strange dance between the undeniable need to make music and a genuine desire to stay out of sight. Believe me, I’ve tried to walk away from being creative altogether, but it never works. It’s a joyous, heavy and often confusing way to live.

Until now, it’s been easier to keep the most honest parts of myself close to my chest, safely out of view. But with Songs of Odar, that changes. This chapter is about finally letting go of the safety net and sharing the side of myself I’ve been guarding for so long.
