This Behringer is one of the cheapest EQ type pedals around I reckon...but it is any good ?
In this video, I’m testing the Behringer AD21 V-Tone Acoustic Driver DI – a super affordable and cheerful acoustic guitar FX modeler pedal. It's simple in features but surprisingly useful for shaping your acoustic tone without breaking the bank.
Key Features: Acoustic amp modeling with basic but effective EQ and tone-shaping options Runs on battery or standard 9V PSU Standard 1/4" jack input/output plus XLR out for direct-to-mixer/PA setups Is it the best bang-for-your-buck acoustic pedal out there?
How does it sound ?
Well, I found the comtrols to be quite noticable anf functional, in other words they definitly do something, sometimes EQ can be quite subtle.
Should you consider it ?
At this price point on the used market these are worth a look for sure, if you have any acostic issue currety; this will probabaly sort some of it at least.
AlternativesÂ
Depending on your there are many options, low cost stuff includes, Sonicake A Factory, Harley Benton Custom Line, then onto things like Fishman AFX Pro, Boss AD-2, then upo to higher prices with the LR Baggs Vebue and Fishman Platimum range.Â
Watch and find out! Let me know in the comments: What EQ or pedal are you using for your acoustic sound?
