Vee & The Invisibles - Saturday - Review
NMR - Very Laid back vibe on this one, nice acoustic guitar and live drum sounding groove, the vocal melody is smooth and the arrangment is fairly tame but it works really well.
The chorus adds some nice harmony vocals and ambient guitar licks which enhance the overall mix, and production suits this style nicely.
A nice easy going track.
About - Vee & The Invisibles
VEE & the invisible is the solo project of singer-songwriter Varun Chopra, a Montreal-born, Calgary-based artist blending indie rock, electronic textures and melodic pop.
The project’s debut full-length album, Summer Ends, arrives on 14 August, bringing together 14 tracks that explore themes of closure, relationships, family, distance, identity and the complicated process of letting go.
Moving through heartbreak, nostalgia, acceptance and renewal, the album feels like both a personal archive and a fresh start. Chopra draws inspiration from artists including Bright Eyes, Damon Albarn, Frank Ocean and Jamie T, creating a sound that moves freely between indie rock, dreamlike pop, electronic textures and intimate singer-songwriter moments.
At its heart, Summer Ends is an album about change — looking back at what has been while trying to find a way forward.
